Rest and Wake ~ Washi Tape Set

Finally, a new washi tape item from me lol! This washi tape set represents the passage of time, the undisturbed moment in between resting and waking. I personally use these rolls for putting up posters and little reminders in my little room here in Tokyo.  Use this for memory-keeping, journaling, labeling your treasures, sending letters to a friend… so many possibilities.

The Wake roll (in black) features the beautiful artwork (by Pau Tiu) that can be found at the back of my Time Well Spent 12″ vinyl record. (2nd vinyl repress is currently ongoing).

The Rest roll (in white) represents the four curiosities in gold foil, in between my own illustrations of pressed flowers, which can also be found on my hand-drawn Growing My Garden scarf.

Oh, to be obsessed with washi tapes. They’re affordable, they’re pretty, and it’s honestly surprising I haven’t created more of them given how much I hoard and use them. I guess it’s never too late!
